I recently painted my friend's dog. It was so much fun as I adore animals! This painting is 12x12 inches on stretched canvas, painted in oils, which is one of my favourite mediums, and it has the advantage in that it doesn't need to be framed. I am thinking that I loved working on this project so much, that I might just start doing commissioned paintings of other people's pets...
This is one of my latest paintings, done with watercolour and chalk pastel on watercolour paper. I immensely enjoy this kind of painting because I can do a terrible watercolour but when I add the pastel it suddenly becomes amazing! I am still deciding whether to add a couple of people on the bridge. What do you think? Canvas prints of this painting are already available as is :)
